WELCOME

You may be interested in improving your photography, or wanting to learn about digital cameras, maybe you are already an experienced photographer, whatever your experience, join others and share the knowledge and the fun of making great photos.

On our website you will find a lot of information about how our club runs, our club night programme and our monthly club competitions.  However, nothing beats coming and joining in on our club nights and seeing for yourself.  Just come along.  We welcome new visitors.

We meet at Whanganui Camera Club Rooms, 2 Handley St, Whanganui on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.  Newer members are welcome to come along at 7.00 pm where they will be greeted by a  Committee Member and can discuss how the club operates and ask questions.

The main meeting starts at 7.30pm with welcomes and announcements. Any presentations or training sessions are usually held up until around 8.15pm followed by presentation of competition results or vice versa. We fit in a supper in the middle to facilitate opportunities to socialise with fellow members. Meetings usually conclude around 9.30pm with many members staying on to discuss their images and to continue catching up.
