OVERVIEW The 2021 Exhibition will open Friday evening 22 October and run to Saturday 30 October in the Arts Centre at 19 Taupo Quay. This years Exhibition will be structured the same as the 2020 Exhibition across the front and back galleries. The Classic Front gallery will be for framed prints with both white and black matting and framing options. The Back Gallery will include a mosaic wall of matted prints under the theme "Toys" (see below for subject description) and "Spaces" on the other two walls will be available for members (allocated by ballot if required) to use as they choose. An additional feature in 2021 will be the display of the three winning images in the 2021 Whanganui Salon (as matted prints) and a continuous presentation of Salon acceptances on a TV screen.

These spaces may be shared by two or more members and will be allocated by ballot after the closing date (which is 21 September- please indicate interest in a space by email to email@example.com by 20 September)
For clarity any member may enter images in the front gallery, on the Toys wall and, additionally, purchase one of the wall Spaces.
Exhibits for the front gallery and Toys wall must be dropped off at the club rooms either at Club night on Wednesday 13 October or from 2 to 4pm on Sunday 17 October. They should be ready for hanging and in suitable packaging (please do not use sellotape - it can stick to prints). If members wish to use one of the Clubs white frames for their exhibits they may "borrow" up to two. These will be available at the club meeting on 22 September or by arrangement with the Exhibition team. The matted prints for the Toys wall must not be framed.
Members who are exhibiting on one of the Spaces in the back gallery are responsible for arranging to hang these exhibits themselves on Friday 22 October.

By entering a price in this section, you agree to pay $35 to the club for a replacement frame if it is sold.
NOTE: If there are more entries than can be accommodated in the front gallery we reserve the right to limit to one per member. IMPORTANT please write your name and title of entry on the back of your entry at the bottom.
The Toys Wall - we will be dedicating one wall of the back gallery to display a mosaic pattern of matted prints (not framed). Members may submit up to two images each at no additional cost. The image must include a toy in it - but we will take a broad interpretation of what a toy is to you. Let your imagination run wild. Big toys, little toys, dolls, trucks, cars, boats, models, the world of toys is your oyster. Mat boards may be any size and colour within the same parameters as for club competitions (maximum 40.5 x 51cm and minimum 15 x 17.5cm). They will be hung using plastic stickers and pins so no need for attached hooks of any type. We hope to avoid the difficulties with prints dropping off the wall this year but acknowledge it remains a risk.
Spaces- members who have been allocated one of the approximately 1.5M wide spaces on the other two walls in the back gallery may use the space as they choose (but please leave breathing room for the neighbouring space). The space may fit from one to perhaps 5 or 6 images depending on size. Images can be shown at different heights but be aware the hanging system in the gallery is on drop down wires so this can be tricky. It may be easiest to mount your images on one large board (as Ray did last year). Images may be presented in any size, material or format with or without glass as long as they are hangable. Members will need to hang their exhibits themselves or arrange for it to be done for them. The hanging wires and hooks will be supplied. Members hanging their own spaces should discuss with Heather and agree a time to bring them along on hanging day - please do this early in the day if possible. We want the back gallery to demonstrate as much diversity as possible – so use your imagination
IMPORTANT, please write your name and title of entry on the back of your entry, at the bottom.
ONLINE ENTRY FORM AND PAYMENT We are doing it a bit differently this year. All exhibitors must complete an entry form online which will be available here from 22 September. The entry form must be submitted and exhibiting fee must be paid by direct bank payment before Sunday 17 October to allow us time to print the catalogue and name cards for the exhibits.
